How to Read the Cash Flow
Understand income, expenses, and planned payments over time in one view

Open the Cash Flow Page
Go to Cash Flow from the main navigation
Additional Details
- •Click on 'Cash Flow' in the sidebar menu
- •You will see charts and a table for the selected month

Select Month and Currency
Choose the period and currency to view
Additional Details
- •Use the month and year selector to pick any month
- •Switch between USD and BRL to see amounts in your preferred currency
- •Past months show actual transactions; future months show planned items

Read the Daily Income & Expenses Chart
Understand the bar chart showing daily inflows and outflows
Additional Details
- •Green bars show income for that day
- •Red bars show expenses for that day
- •Hover over a day to see the exact Income and Expenses amounts in the tooltip
- •The chart includes all days in the month, even with zero activity

Read the Running Balance Chart
See how your balance evolves day by day
Additional Details
- •The area chart shows your cumulative balance over the month
- •It starts from the first day and adds each day’s net income minus expenses
- •Use it to spot when your balance dips or peaks

Use the Cash Flow Table
Review each item with type, category, and amount
Additional Details
- •Each row is a transaction, debt payment, or budget schedule
- •Icon and Category columns match the Monthly view for consistency
- •Type shows Income, Expense, Debt Payment, or Budget Expense
- •Items marked with a "Planned" badge have not happened yet (e.g. future debt or budget dates)

Toggle Predicted Items
Show or hide planned budget and debt payments
Additional Details
- •Use 'Show predicted (budget & debt schedules)' to include or exclude planned items
- •Turn it off to see only actual transactions
- •Turn it on to see the full picture including upcoming payments

Improve Forecasts with Budget Dates
Set when you plan to spend budgets for better cash flow
Additional Details
- •In Budgets, edit a monthly budget and use "When to spend (cash flow)"
- •Add a single date or a date range for when you expect to spend that budget
- •Cash flow will show past days from actual transactions and future days from your planned rate
