How to Manage Transactions
Learn how to add, edit, and manage your financial transactions

Navigate to Transactions
Click on 'Transactions' in the main navigation menu

- •From the dashboard, click on the 'Transactions' menu item
- •Or use the quick access button if available
- •Tip: use Import Statement to turn a PDF or bank screenshot into rows you can edit before saving — open Guide → Statement import for the walkthrough.

Select Transaction Type
Choose the appropriate transaction type for your entry
Additional Details
- •Income: Money coming into your account
- •Expense: Money going out for purchases/services
- •Savings: Money moved to savings buckets
- •Debt Payment: Payments toward existing debts
- •Budget Expense: Expenses against monthly budgets

Choose Category
Select an existing category or create a new one
Additional Details
- •Browse through existing categories
- •Click 'Create Category' if you need a new one
- •Categories help organize your spending patterns

Enter Amount and Currency
Input the transaction amount and select your currency
Additional Details
- •Enter the exact amount
- •Choose between USD or BRL
- •The app will automatically convert if needed

Add Description and Date
Provide a clear description and select the transaction date
Additional Details
- •Write a descriptive note about the transaction
- •Select the date when the transaction occurred
- •You can also attach receipts if needed

Save Transaction
Review your entry and save the transaction
Additional Details
- •Double-check all information
- •Click 'Save Transaction' to complete
- •Your transaction will appear in your history immediately
